So, I’ve finally decided to bite the bullet and jump, feet first, into the blogging world! I say “jump” half-jokingly, because, as the old adage says, “look before you leap”. And, being the true risk-averse person that I am, before I ultimately decided to begin this journey, I needed to carefully consider the advantages and disadvantages of starting my own blog.

Blogging is something I’ve always wanted to do, and people have told me to do, for years. And in a way, I’ve already been blogging for a while now – I’ve been insta-blogging! I’ve been sharing my photos and my (sometimes long, sometimes short) thoughts on the things that I love through Instagram. But I was always too scared to fully commit to starting a real blog for a variety of reasons. Would I have enough time? Would I be able to create enough interesting content? Most importantly, who the heck am I and why would people actually care about what I have to say? All of those questions are what held me back from taking the leap sooner.

However, I’ve come to realize that if you look long and hard enough before you leap, you will always find enough reasons to inhibit you. But if you just take the risk, you might find that the gigantic sea you thought you were diving into is a lot shallower than you originally thought.

So hopefully you come along for the ride. I promise to dish up the best content that I possibly can, and I sincerely hope that you enjoy!
