The name of this blog post is a bit of a misnomer because it’s actually about frills – a lot of them! As you may have noticed if you follow me on Instagram, I have a bit of an obsession with frilly tops, and in particular, white frilly tops (more to come in my next style post). I also love off-the-shoulder tops, so this little number from Club Monaco is exactly my style.
Speaking of Club Monaco, if you live in Toronto, have you had a chance to check out the Club Monaco Market at the Bloor St. W. location yet? I had the pleasure of attending the launch with some friends a few weeks ago and visited again last weekend. With all sorts of treats, like flowers by Sweet Woodruff, confectionery from Bake Shoppe, flavoured popsicles by The Pop Stand, food by Delica Kitchen, juices and smoothies from Evolution Food Co., and coffee from Sam James Coffee Bar, it’s like a beautiful, little oasis in downtown Toronto. See here for yourself.
But, back to my ootd. Since I’m a minimalist, I couldn’t think of a better match for this top than a pair of classic blue denim shorts. A thin black suede choker tied in a bow adds a cute touch, and my pointy-toe slingback flats complete the look!
