My quest for the perfect suede running shoe is finally over! A couple weeks ago, I was invited to shop the new GEOX Nebula collection*, where I scored this pair of grey runners.

I had been looking for suede running shoes for a while, but could never manage to find the right pair. So when the opportunity arose to shop GEOX, I was super excited! When it comes to runners, I tend to stick to the usual colours: white and black. So this time, I thought I’d go in a different direction and add some colour to my running shoe collection. GEOX Nebulas come in lots of colours and they are available in suede or mesh. I scoped out all the options online before going into the store and had an idea about what I wanted (the multi-coloured ones were at the top of my list). But when I got there and saw the shoes in person, it was actually very difficult for me to decide!

While I shopped, the sales associate explained that the Nebulas allow for ultimate breath-ability, performance, and comfort, and she told me about the patented GEOX Net Breathing System. The shoes actually have a mechanism to regulate your foot temperature, meaning they can be worn without socks (bonus!). Their soles have cushioning and grip, but are flexible at the same time. When you move, they follow the natural points of contact of your feet, for balance and additional comfort.

I was finally able to narrow down to the grey and beige suede pairs, but it was actually a coin toss that determined which colour I got (what are the odds that Cynthia, sitting next to me, has size 5 feet like me and would have wanted the exact same colour?!). In any event, I’m extremely happy with my choice and have practically been living in these shoes since I got them. The first weekend I had them, I went to Prince Edward County (travel guide will be coming soon to the blog) and wore them pretty much the entire time. I even went for a run and did a workout in them (all without socks). I was so pleasantly surprised to see that they didn’t need any breaking in – from the moment I put them on, they felt like a part of my feet!

In terms of styling, these shoes are sleek and versatile. Since I’ve been wearing them so much, I’ve already paired them with blue and black jeans, but I especially love how they look with leather leggings.

The Nebulas are so light-weight and comfy, which is exactly what I look for in a running shoe. Assuming I can keep them clean, I think these may have become my new go-to running shoes for the summer. Wearing them feels like I’m walking on a cloud!

…Now that’s something to jump up and down about!

*Many thanks to MacIntyre Communications and GEOX for the opportunity to shop this collection! Although this is a sponsored post, all opinions are completely my own.
